Gerhard Topp struck out on a new path with an idea when he founded our company in 1945. The company’s main focus was on the fabrication of woven rugs, bias bindings and coatings. For more than 70 years we have been providing tapes and textile solutions and we always find inspiration to advance new ideas. Topp tapes are famous far beyond the Allgäu. Due to the pioneering spirit of the company founder we have today's worldwide industrial standard to develop a bias binding from a tube. Gerhard Topp was the inventor of the seamless bias binding which was revolutionary at his time. We continue his innovative thought and remain creative – many ways still want to be walked on.
